About the event
Join us for this super fun, wild and experimental 2-day weekend workshop with UK artist Ottie. Learn to plan out, break down and abstract your arty ideas (inspired by your travel photos (or studio images) to create a large scale painting in acrylic and mixed media on a giant stretched canvas (choice of 60/60cm square or 90/70 rectangular).
We'll be using a range of quick win sketches to understand composition, colour, the use of line, texture and depth in your work before breaking a white canvas with paint and using an exciting range of layering and textural effects! Expect to get messy and create some very cool artwork for your walls!
Course runs for 2 days 10AM - 4PM - with breaks provided!
Fees 5.4M
Fees include all materials canvases and tea/coffee break! Please bring your own lunch, order or pop out to the cafe next door!
